Setting Up Your Brand for the Best AI Video Results
Learn how to configure your brand profile, upload the right assets, and set up custom content modes to get the most out of Reelmate.
Why Your Brand Setup Matters
Reelmate uses your brand information to generate scripts that actually sound like your brand. A well-configured brand profile means better, more relevant video scripts right out of the box.
Creating Your Brand
From the Create tab, tap Create Brand and fill in:
- Brand Name — Your brand or company name
- Description — A short description of what your brand does. The AI reads this when writing scripts, so be specific. Instead of "We sell stuff," try "We make organic dog treats for health-conscious pet owners."
- Website (optional) — Your brand's URL
- Logo (optional) — Displayed alongside your videos in the feed
Uploading Great Assets
Your image assets are the visual foundation of every video. Here's how to choose the best ones:
What Works Well
- Brand mascots and characters — These are ideal because the AI can give them personality and motion
- Product photos with clean backgrounds — Clear subjects with minimal clutter
- Illustrations and artwork — Bold, colorful designs translate well to video
- Multiple poses or outfits — Upload the same character in different situations for content variety
What to Avoid
- Busy group photos — The AI works best with a clear focal point
- Tiny or low-res images — Aim for at least 512x512 pixels
- Screenshots or text-heavy images — These don't animate well
Organizing Your Assets
Upload as many assets as you want. When generating videos, you can select one or multiple images to create a batch of videos. Each asset creates a unique video with its own script.
Public vs. Private Brands
You can make your brand public, which allows other Reelmate users to discover your brand and create videos with your assets. This is great for:
- Community-driven brands that want organic, fan-made content
- Building brand awareness through the Reelmate feed
- Getting fresh creative takes on your brand from other creators
Keep your brand private if you want full control over who uses your assets.
