Getting Started: Create Your First AI Video in 5 Minutes

Welcome to Reelmate

Reelmate turns your brand images into scroll-stopping short-form videos for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. This tutorial walks you through creating your very first video.

Step 1: Sign Up

Head to reelmate.io/login and create your account. Your first video is completely free — no credit card required.

Step 2: Create or Select a Brand

Once you're in, you'll land on the Create tab. The first thing you'll do is pick a brand. If you don't have one yet, tap Create Brand and give it a name, description, and optionally a logo and website URL.

Brands are how Reelmate organizes your content. Each brand has its own set of image assets, and the AI uses your brand's details to generate relevant scripts.

Step 3: Upload Your Image Assets

With your brand selected, you'll see its asset library. Tap Upload to add your mascot, character, product photo, or any image you want to animate. Supported formats are PNG, JPG, and WebP.

A few tips for best results:

• Use a clear subject — images with a single, well-defined character or product work best
• Transparent backgrounds (PNG) give the AI more creative freedom
• High resolution — at least 512x512 pixels for crisp video output

Step 4: Select an Asset and Configure

Tap on the image you want to turn into a video. You'll move to the configuration screen where you set:

• Voice — Choose from 25+ voice personalities like British, Surfer Bro, Anime Narrator, Drill Sergeant, and more
• Content Category — Select the type of content you want (product tip, trending reaction, educational, etc.)
• Vibe Pack (optional) — Pre-set combinations of voice + content mode for quick generation

Step 5: Generate

Hit the Generate button. The AI will:

1. Write a custom script based on your brand and content category
2. Synthesize a voiceover in your chosen voice
3. Animate your image into a 9:16 vertical video
4. Generate a caption and hashtags optimized for social media

The whole process takes about 1-2 minutes.

Step 6: Review and Download

Your finished video appears in the My Reels tab. Tap on it to preview, then download it to your device. You can also:

• Copy the caption and hashtags for easy posting
• Mark it as public to share it on the Reelmate feed
• Rate it to help improve future generations
• Favorite it to find it quickly later
